It can only work if users are willing to adopt EV

‘The huge goal of reaching 1.8M EV charge points in 2030 is not only about technology-push, regula-tion and financial investments – they are all crucial ingredients, but it can only work if users have a positive experience and are willing to adopt EV. The majority of drivers hasn’t adopted EV yet. Elec-tric cars still are too expensive, but people also worry about other things: how far can I drive? Where can I charge? What if I can’t charge my car? How does it work – charging my car at a public charge point? It’s mostly fear of the unknown. If we want to make the transition towards electric transport, we really need to take these concerns seriously.’
